You don't need special skills to enjoy a sound bath. However, setting the right environment can double the effectiveness of your session.
Step 1: The Setup
Headphones are key. While our app works on speakers, the binaural beats technology ONLY works if you wear stereo headphones. Noise-canceling ones are best.
Find a quiet room where you won't be disturbed for at least 15 minutes.
Step 2: Posture
You can sit or lie down.
- Lying Down (Savasana): Best for "Rest", "Comfort", and "Calm" sessions. Place a pillow under your knees to support your lower back.
- Sitting Up: Best for "Focus", "Energy", or "Creativity". Keep your spine straight to allow free breathing.
Step 3: The Intention
Before you hit play, set a micro-intention. "I am releasing stress," or "I am inviting clarity." This primes your brain to look for that result.
Step 4: The Experience
Close your eyes. Focus only on the sound. If your mind wanders (and it will), simply gently bring your attention back to the hum of the bowl or the pulse of the beat.
Note: You might feel physical sensations like tingling, heaviness, or seeing colors. This is normal.
Step 5: The "Re-Entry"
When the session ends, don't jump up immediately. Wiggle your fingers and toes. Take a deep breath. Drink a glass of water to help "ground" yourself back into your body.
